DAY
1:LIMA - CUSCO Reception at the
airport of Cusco. Transfer to the Hostal Tahuantinsuyo, morning free to relax
and adjust to the altitude. In the afternoon visit the Main Square, Cathedral,
Koricancha, palace and the nearby Ruins as Kenko, Puca Pucara, Tambomachay, Sacsayhuaman
Fortress.
DAY
2 : CUSCO - SACRED VALLEY Full
day excursion to the Sacred Valley of the Incas, visiting the Indian Market in
the morning. Ollantaytambo Ruins in the afternoon return to Cusco. B.L. (Tuesday,
Thursday and Sunday).

3: INCA TRAIL MACHUPICCHU "PISCAK'UCHO
- HUAYLLABAMBA" Early morning transfer to the head of the trail
where we begin our trek, escorted by native Quechua porters. From Piscak'ucho
we hike along the Vilcanota River, with magnificent views of Nevado Veronica:

4:CLIMBING TO LLULLUCHAPAMPA We climb through
magical polylepis forest to high camp at Llulluchapampa 3600 mts. Today is one
of the most demanding days of the trip as we gain a lot of altitude, the first
pass at 4200 msl. Offers views to the Huayanay peaks and west rugged Vilcabamba
Range. We descend to our camp Runkurakay. B.L.D.

5:SAYAQMARCA - WIÑAYWAYNA We cross the second pass at 4000 msl.
And follow a fine Inca highway to the restored townsite of Sayaqmarca. We descend
rapidly from cloud forest into high Jungle habitat, Orchids and hummingbirds are
common along this spectacular section of the trail high above the river. The Inca
Trail in this section is a white granite path going through a high temperate zone.

6:WIÑAYWAYNA - MACHUPICCHU - CUSCO After an early wake up we emerge
at the gate of the sun for our first view of MACHUPICCHU from high above the City.
Finally we arrive to the misterious ·Lost City" in the afternoon we
return by train to Cusco. Hostal. B.

7:CUSCO - FREE DAY Free day at leisure. B.

8: CUSCO - RAFTING RIVER APURIMAC CLASS 3/4/5 We meet at 8.30 a.m. From
Cusco we drive 4 hours through the Andes to the put- in at Huallpachaca bridge
2,000 msl. Altitude. It will take us about two hours to prepare all the equipment,
self-bailing rafts, oars, paddles, cooiers, helmets. Lifejackets, wetsuits etc.
You will be given a safety talk and drills into rafting techniques. We will
raft for 2/3 hours, doing class 2/3 rapids. Camp in a narrow gorge with impressive
walls. Here the guides will prepare dinner. Your responsability is to help gathering
wood for cooking, and washing your own dish. B.L.D.
DAY
9: RAFTING RIVER After a healthy breakfast we star rafting around 10
a.m. Today we will be in the water for about 5/6 hours, doing mostly class 3 and
4 rapids, dealing with another short portage stopping for lunch and arriving to
camp betwen 3p.m. and 4 p.m.Today we'll have tea time and dinner and sleep
on a sandy beach under sky of the southern hemisphere. B.L.D.

10: RAFTING RIVER After a good breakfast we will float down river running
more rapids until we arrive to our private camping we will do some rafting games,
at this camp there is a family of foxes that sometimes come and visit.B.L.D.
DAY
11: RAFTING RIVER - CUSCO After a good healthy breakfast, we are going
to be rafting through a couple of class 5 rapids, with names such as "tooth
ache" you first" lastlaugin" after 3 or 4 hours of rafting. We
will arrive to the take-out where we will have a "Parrillada" lunch
party and return to Cusco. B.L.

12: CUSCO - LIMA Transfer to the airport for your flight to Lima. Arrival
transfer to the Hostal. Free afternoon. Hostal

13:LIMA - INTERNATIONAL FLIGHT In the morning, transfer to the airport
for your international flight.
